đź•Ż Christmas Eve at Living Word

Come celebrate Jesus with us

There is nothing quite like taking a moment out of the busy Christmas season to come together on Christmas Eve, greeting each other with a Christmas blessing, singing some Christmas songs, hearing a retelling of the arrival of our Savior King, and worshipping Him together with your church family.

A Christmas Eve Candlelight Service is a tradition that can anchor us in the true reason for the season. The service will start at 5:30p on Christmas Eve and will be filled with both new and traditional arrangements of some of our favorite Christmas music, the Christmas story, and of course, candlelight. We would be honored to share this special moment of the Christmas season with you and your family.

Can't Join Us In-Person?

F.A.Q.

THIS SOUNDS NICE. WHEN IS IT?

Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service is Tuesday, December 24th at 5:30p.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

The service will be filled with both new and traditional arrangements of a few of our favorite Christmas songs, the Christmas story, an encouraging message from our lead pastor, and we'll end the service with singing Silent night to candlelight. All said and done, it will about an hour in length.

WHO'S INVITED?

Everyone is welcome! It's a service for the whole family. Whether you attend our church or not, you're always welcome to celebrate Jesus with us!

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Children’s ministry will not be available. We encourage the whole family to join us in the auditorium for this service! We do have a Quiet Room available where moms and dads can take their kiddos if they get too restless though. There's a TV in that room that will be connected to the live stream, so you won't miss anything.

BUT WHAT WOULD I WEAR?!

Clothes. Please wear clothes. It's winter!

But seriously, just come wearing whatever you're comfortable in. We have all manners of dress at Living Word — from casual to dressed up. You be you.

I'M COMING! WHAT'S YOUR ADDRESS?

We're glad you asked! We're at 905 10th Ave SE Spencer, IA.
